Inadequate dental care can predispose people with HIV to oral health problems including cavities, gum problems and oral lesions.* For the last 20+ years, UofL has helped to address these issues in partnership with the federal government and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Who’s eligible

Participants must be HIV positive, a resident of our service area (Kentucky and emerging communities in Southern Indiana) and actively enrolled in medical case management services with Ryan White Program Louisville.

Services included

Participants are eligible for:

Low-Cost Oral Health Services

Free dental screenings, plus a wide range of comprehensive dentistry procedures regardless of ability to pay

Convenient Transportation

Transportation services or gas vouchers to and from approved dental providers

Personalized Case Management

Private, personalized support services with dental case managers
