Residents at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry Graduate Oral Surgery Practice care for patients who experience such conditions as problem wisdom teeth, facial pain and misaligned jaws. They treat accident victims suffering facial injuries, offer reconstructive and dental implant surgery and care for patients with tumors and cysts of the jaws and functional and aesthetic conditions of the maxillofacial areas. In addition, they treat patients with congenital problems in the head and neck such as cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial disorders.

A dental procedure to take out one or more of the third molars at the back of the mouth
Including extraction and immediate implant placement
For accident victims suffering facial injuries, patients with tumors and cysts of the jaws and congenital problems in the head and neck such as cleft lip and palate
